"Look at all the decals. This will be fun!", said the voices in my head.

This was a challenging build in that applying decals is not high on my list of experiences. In this case, I duffed the big decals and then opted to paint them instead. Other than that.... the actual kit was a breeze to build (as is typical of Tamiya).

I was able to find some really decent reference photos of this exact car, post-race Le Mans.  That took the guess-work out of the weathering.

I have a friend, Carl Bosman, whose main hobby is to photograph models. I loaned the car to him and this is what he produced......
